| What is "art"? Its definition can be
subjective and it is determined by individual fiat. Of the many
definitions provided by the American Heritage Dictionary of the
English Language, one definition is "The conscious production or
arrangement of sounds, colors, forms, movements, or other elements in
a manner that affects the sense of beauty, specifically the production
of the beautiful in a graphic or plastic medium." I do not
have a formal definition of art but I define the art term through the
lens of my camera.
When an individual walks into my studio, I see the beauty of that
individual and I work with his/her beauty so that it complements the
beauty of the surrounding. The human body is one of the many
beautiful mediums that contain curves, movements, forms, and other
elements that are described on the definition above. I would
like to work with an individual to find the comfort level in which
s/he interacts/responds to his/her environment.
